The Portland Lumberjacks took Chicago pitcher Stevie Bodine's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Trail in Multnomah. The final score had Portland getting past the Black Sox, 3-2. Bodine went 8 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 6. Chicago's current losing streak has reached 5 games.

Edward Roundfield IV was the walk-off hero for Portland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Lumberjacks second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Roundfield IV said.
