Squires Helps Portland Bombard Chicago

Greg Squires, who is tied for 2nd in the FL in triples with 6, led Portland to a triumph over Chicago. The final score was 15-1. The second baseman went 4 for 5, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 1 run and added 4 RBI. The winning pitcher was Alaric Wullenweber. He's now 5-7. He went 7.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits for the Lumberjacks. The 5th-place Black Sox have dropped 6 straight games.
With Portland leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Squires hit a forkball from Adam Hines for a run-scoring double. It was his 14th double of the season and put the Lumberjacks ahead, 2-0.
