The Chicago Black Sox handed the Valencia Stars a loss at Dunn Field. The final score was 6-2. Omar Robles was one of the major contributors for Chicago. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 2. Stevie Bodine earned the win for Chicago. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 10 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 6-6. Richard Lawrence finished the game for Chicago and earned his 28th save.
