River Monsters Snatch Late-Game, 5-4 Win
The timely hitting of Raúl Gallehos helped the Twin Cities River Monsters take down the Nashville Bluebirds, 5-4, in 10 innings. Gallehos was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the River Monsters. Peter Fuller, who led the FL in saves with 46 in 2056, picked up the win in relief. Kelly Calhoun took the loss for Nashville. The win gives Twin Cities a record of 5-4.

Twin Cities got a knockout punch from Carlos Marcillas. The catcher hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It was a test of wills," said Gerald Brandt, the Twin Cities skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
