The Twin Cities River Monsters faced a tough opponent in Bikini pitcher Paul Glass, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Land O' Lakes Ballpark by a final score of 5-3. Glass went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. After today's action, Twin Cities sits at 52-41, while Bikini falls to 53-40.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Octávio Sánchez came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Bikini pitcher Félix Vidaca, he hit a 2-1 slider for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Twin Cities on top, 5-3.

"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Sánchez.
