He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Portland. Murali Patachli got the win, improving to 8-3. He held the Sluggers to 2 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. The 5th-place Lumberjacks now sit at 53-43.

Portland relied on the bat of Hideaki Ohayashi to get the win. The first baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the first inning to put the Lumberjacks ahead, 1-0. For the game, Ohayashi had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"I still think this team can play even better," Ohayashi told the Portland Daily News.
