The performance of Jacquot Natta proved critical in helping Charlotte beat Boise, 9-7. The Flyers third baseman went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2. The 5th-place Spuds have lost 5 straight games.

The Spuds had been locked in a 6-6 tie with the Flyers going into the bottom of the eighth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old left fielder Onan Ogun came to the plate. Ogun hit a run-scoring double on a first pitch cutter from Boise hurler Gerald Rogers. It was Ogun's 7th double of the year.

Natta told a Charlotte Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
