The Sacramento Mad Popes picked up a win at The Basilica at Muskrat Slough, dropping the Yellow Springs Nine, 7-5. Mario Reyes, who is tied for 9th in the FL with a 1.12 WHIP, was the difference-maker. Don Jordan was credited with the save, his 1st in 1 tries. With the win, Sacramento upped its record to 59-45.

Yoshitora Goto helped out the Sacramento cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Reyes.
