5-3 Win Takes Bluebirds to 76-34
|
Nashville parlayed a decent outing from starter Dan Boman into a solid win over the Madison Wolves. The final score was 5-3. Boman picked up the win for Nashville, going 6 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-0. David Prigent was credited with the save for Nashville, his 3rd of the season.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Brooks Eliot? The Nashville shortstop had a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Bluebirds on top, 3-0. For the game, Eliot had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Dan's as tough as he is talented," said Nashville manager Brent Ross.
The Bluebirds have an impressive 76-34 record.
