Cyclones Absorb 7-4 Home Loss
The Twin Cities River Monsters downed the Omaha Cyclones, 7-4, at Mordonez Ballpark. The River Monsters were led by Octávio Sánchez. Sánchez was 2-4 with a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Jorge Durán recorded the save, making him 5 for 8. The win for the River Monsters raised their record to 71-40.

Sánchez had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a 0-1 sinker from Peter Dean, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the River Monsters a 6-4 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Sánchez.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Sánchez. "It sure beats the alternative."
