Fain Befuddles Luanda in 11-0 Pretoria Win
The Luanda Anglers were almost helpless in their 11-0 loss to the Pretoria Rhinos and hurler Larry Fain. Fain kept the Anglers confused all game, spinning a 8-hit shutout.

"Tip your hat to Fain," Luanda manager Jerry Crawford said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."

The 40-year-old left-hander had 2 walks and 6 strikeouts in a strong performance.

"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Fain said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."

On the season, Fain has a 6-15 record with a 5.72 ERA.
