Montreal turned a good effort from starter Luis González into a win over the New Orleans Crawdads at Ubisoft Field. The Blazers won the game, 2-0. The winner was González. He threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Juan De La Cruz. Randall Cotton locked down his 1st save.

Clancy Lee, who led the JL in triples with 14 in 2059, came through for Montreal with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. The right fielder went 3 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. He scored 1 run and collected 2 runs batted in.
