Singapore College Beats Bombay College in World Series
This is the time of the baseball season when grown men are reduced to tears. This year, the Singapore College Polar Bears were shedding tears of joy and the Bombay College Angels those of sorrow.

The Polar Bears topped the Angels today 13-4 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim and locked up their 1st Expedition League World Series championship, winning the series 4-2.

"To come this far and leave empty-handed is not easy," said Bombay College manager Larry Montgomery.

The Polar Bears finished the regular season in the East Division with a 27-23 record, ending up in first place in the division standings.
