Vancouver registered a win at The Trail in Multnomah by beating the Portland Lumberjacks, 8-2. Pitcher Motka Beteev was one reason why the Mounties triumphed. The defeat makes Portland 51-64.

Vancouver used a well-timed hit by Sergio Mendoza to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Mounties ahead, 5-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
