In a crucial game, the Nashville Bluebirds put on their best show, beating the Twin Cities River Monsters by a final score of 6-4. Erik Brooks threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Nashville and Twin Cities are now tied at 2 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.

José Ramos drew 1 walk for Nashville. With one out and the game tied in the top of the eighth inning, Ramos had a clutch at-bat. Facing Twin Cities hurler Jorge Durán, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Bluebirds a 5-4 lead.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Bluebirds manager Brand Michael, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Land O' Lakes Ballpark in St. Paul.
