Bears Walk It Off for 61st Win of Season
The San Fernando Bears faced a tough opponent in Long Beach pitcher You-de Szema, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Chico's Bail Bonds Field by a final score of 5-4 in 10 innings. Szema went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win elevated the Bears to 61-55.

San Fernando got a game-changing hit from Manny Trujillo. The pinch hitter blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.

"Both teams played hard," said San Fernando manager Gonzalo Escobar.
