At Utopia Field, the Yellow Springs Nine and Omaha Cyclones were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Mathis Gérard pitched a gem to lead Omaha to victory over the Yellow Springs Nine, 4-1. Picking up the save was Dave Ferrell. He's now 26 for 31 in save chances.
Héctor García had a direct impact on the outcome. García contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Omaha up, 1-0.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," García told the Omaha Daily News.
The 7th-place Cyclones sport a record of 49-69.
