Charm City Nets 2-1 Win Versus Crawdads
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Charm City Jimmies and New Orleans Crawdads.

Starting pitcher John Mellon gave the Charm City Jimmies a rock-solid effort. The Paterson, New Jersey native helped his team defeat the New Orleans Crawdads, 2-1, at The Commanders Palace. The Crawdads, now 3-10, continue their poor start.

Charm City used a clutch hit from Lúcio Guevara to snatch the win. The shortstop belted a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to put the Jimmies ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Mellon told the Charm City Times.
