Bunce Bashes 5 Base Hits
|
It was a parade of hits for Tony Bunce of the Indianapolis Downforce at Grasshopper Park.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Bunce finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Downforce to a win, 9-5.
"Bunce was really good and we were really bad," groaned Loggers manager Víctor Díaz. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
