5 Hits for Loggers Dostie

It was a high-five day for Thurman Dostie, at least for a while.
The Lincoln left fielder got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Quincy Firedancers, but they were in short supply at the end, as Quincy won the game, 5-1. Dostie finished with an impressive 5-for-5 line, but the Loggers couldn't hold off the Firedancers.
"Thurman was hitting everything," said Loggers manager Víctor Díaz. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion."
Thurman Dostie singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off David Petit in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
This season, Dostie is batting .364 with 6 home runs. He has scored 29 runs and driven in 29.
