Carlos Schumann helped his team muscle past the Bikini Krill, 5-4. In the game, the Hawaii second baseman was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Bob Westbrooks finished to wrap up his 2nd save. The Tropics, now 12-4, have been sizzling early on.

Hawaii used the timely hitting of Mitch Wareham to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Tropics on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
