A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Bikini Krill and Valencia Stars.

The Bikini Krill topped the Valencia Stars, 12-3, in Frick League action at Dunn Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Bikini pitcher Takashi Nakamura. Bikini is off to a hot start at 2-0.

Bikini used a well-timed hit by Keith Williams to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Krill ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Williams told the Bikini Today.
