Portland Lumberjacks starter John O'Leary found his groove in his team's 7-3 win over the Vancouver Mounties. The loss drops Vancouver to 0-2.

The Lumberjacks got a big hit from first baseman Graeme Odhieng. Facing Vancouver pitcher Juan García in the bottom of the fifth, Odhieng pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 3rd double of the season put the Lumberjacks ahead, 6-2.

"We take it day by day here," said O'Leary, "and today was a good one for us."
