Stars Win with Late Rally
The Valencia Stars cut down the Bikini Krill by the score of 3-2 in 11 innings. Much of the credit went to center fielder Ed Bush. Bush was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Stars. Dave Furman, 2-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. The loss drops the Krill to 12-10.

Bush broke a deadlock in the top of the 11th inning, when he hit a sacrifice fly, putting Valencia up, 3-2.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Stars manager Roberto Solís. "This one was nice to get."
