Surfers Roll to 9-1 Win Over Mad Popes
Good production from third baseman Randy Stuard helped the Long Beach Surfers topple the Sacramento Mad Popes, 9-1. Stuard went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Surfers. Sacramento drops to 13-10.

In the bottom of the third, 26-year old designated hitter Badrak Owor hit a 2-run double. The 6th double of the season for the Long Beach designated hitter put the Surfers on top, 3-1.

"They took it to us," said Sacramento manager Fernando Pacheco.
