The exploits of right fielder Pat Loder, who is tied for 8th in the FL in home runs with 6, helped the Omaha Cyclones defeat the Twin Cities River Monsters, 5-2. Loder was 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The victory makes Omaha 15-10.

Calvin Johnson had a big run-scoring triple for the Cyclones in the top of the second inning. With Omaha leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a curveball from 38-year old right-handed pitcher Will Ritter and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cyclones ahead, 2-0.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Johnson.
