The Twin Cities River Monsters had to overcome a fine effort from Madison pitcher Tyler Murray to win, 6-5, at Land O' Lakes Ballpark. Murray went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Twin Cities reliever Jorge Quiñones was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Mark Moore. The loss drops Madison to 11-14.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 5-5, 22-year old right fielder Pedro Aguilar won it for Twin Cities. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Aguilar hit a 1-2 curveball from Mark Moore for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 6-5 win.

"What an exhilarating win!" said Aguilar.
