Outlaws Get 6-3 Win Versus Boise
The San Antonio Outlaws knocked off the Boise Spuds, 6-3, at F. Nephi Grigg Memorial Stadium. Nick Cummins was a big reason San Antonio won. The second baseman went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jorge Casillas was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was four-time All-Star Thomas Turner. Steve McFarland closed the game out for San Antonio, earning his 1st save.

With San Antonio leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Cummins came up to bat against Boise pitcher Thomas Turner. Cummins hit a changeup to right-center for a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season put the Outlaws on top, 4-1.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Cummins.

The loss drops Boise to 2-1.
