Choppa Smacks 5 Hits for Talons
It was a sensational day at the plate for G'Tuda Choppa as he led the charge to a nifty 14-4 win over the Shredders. The Phoenix first baseman was pure misery for the Austin pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.

"Choppa put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said David Pinto, manager for the Shredders, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

G'Tuda Choppa hit a two-run home run off Pablo Guerrero in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Pablo Guerrero in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Edward Joseph Pfeffer in the 9th.

Choppa is hitting .343 so far this season with 28 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 37 hits including 10 home runs, 1 walk and .354 OBP.
