The Bikini Krill defeated the Sacramento Mad Popes, 4-1, in Frick League action at Forever Field. Bikini pitcher Steve Truss had a standout performance. With the loss, Sacramento is 17-12.

Al Schumann took Sacramento hurler Sakutaro Kawano deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the Krill on top, 3-1. In all, Schumann had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
