Aztecs Drop to .500 After 3-2 Loss to Pioneers

Starting pitcher Edmond Thomas gave the Calgary Pioneers a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Mexico City Aztecs, 3-2, at The Stockyard. With the loss, Mexico City sinks to 15-15.
Rusty Harmon had a big run-scoring double for the Pioneers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Calgary leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Jesús Fox, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2063 draft, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pioneers ahead, 3-1.
"It's a mindset," said Thomas. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
