Robins Win 5-2 Walk-Off

The Robins grabbed a win, 5-2, at McDermott Park at Ebbets Field, overcoming a fine effort from Atlantic City pitcher Omar Sabir. Sabir went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Cobble Hill reliever José González picked up the win to move to 3-0. Jesús Martínez suffered the loss. The Robins, now 22-8, have been sizzling early on.
Cobble Hill got a clutch hit from Juan Martínez. The shortstop jolted a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.
"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Martínez.
