Boise Spuds starter Josh Clark turned in an exceptional performance against the Mexico City Aztecs at F. Nephi Grigg Memorial Stadium, resulting in a Boise win, 5-1. Mexico City now is 11-20.

Perry Taylor hit a 2-run home run off Dave Corfield in the bottom of the first, which put the Spuds ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Taylor had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Clark.
