The Stockyard was rocking after an exciting Pioneers win.

Mexico City catcher Ross DeVille was sensational. He was 5-5 with a home run, a double, and 3 singles. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Calgary beat the Aztecs, 5-4. With the win, Calgary is 13-19.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 12th, 21-year old shortstop Seong-chin Kang had a chance to be the hero. Mexico City pitcher Dennis Harrel wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Kang hit a sacrifice fly. The Pioneers had themselves a thrilling win.

"This place was electric at the end," Kang said.
