Oysters Come Back Late to Top Shredders, 4-2
The Rocky Mountain Oysters faced a tough opponent in Austin pitcher Glenn Hargrove, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Austin Baseball Grounds by a final score of 4-2. Hargrove went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Harith Kadar notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Sergej Gijsberts picked up his 9th save of the season.

Rocky Mountain used the timely hitting of Jack Cashman to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Oysters on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager David Pinto.

With the loss, Austin drops to 19-13.
