The Mexico City Aztecs picked up a win at F. Nephi Grigg Memorial Stadium, taking down the Boise Spuds, 5-4. Starting pitcher Tim Gingras was a big reason why. Gingras yielded 2 runs over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 8. His record improves to 3-2. Sergio Tormes collected save number 4.

Mexico City used a clutch at-bat from Zero Dimotsios to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Aztecs ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Mexico City manager Markus O'Byrne called it "a darn good win."
