Black Sox Win with Late Rally
The Chicago Black Sox got a stellar effort from pitcher Bobby Sherman, helping Chicago score a win over the visiting Madison Wolves, 2-1, in 10 innings. Mike Baker snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Clint Thomas suffered the loss. The Black Sox, at 16-17, have now won 4 straight.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Ayyad Faisal in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a solo home run off former first round draft pick Clint Thomas to win it for Chicago and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"This game tested our mettle," said Faisal.
