Jerry Stone, who finished 4th in the FL in wins with 15 in 2058, imposed his will on the Bluebirds from the get-go. Relying mainly on his changeup, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-0 Twin Cities triumph. The River Monsters are now 20-16.

In his 93-pitch effort, Stone allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 6.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Stone. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
