Long Beach Falters Again, Loses, 7-5, to Bikini
Austin Nolan had a good game, but he could not keep the Long Beach Surfers from falling, 7-5, to the Bikini Krill at Vito Costantino Memorial Stadium. The Long Beach second baseman went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice in the loss. Winston Morris earned the save for Bikini, his 7th. The losses continue to mount for Long Beach, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

Bikini took a 7-4 lead on Fernando Bushey's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Bushey hit in the top of the eighth, left Long Beach pitcher Frank Geddes visibly frustrated.

"They had a good approach," Long Beach skipper Mike Ellis said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
