San Fernando Bears starter Morgan Tomsett found his groove in his team's 7-4 win over the Sacramento Mad Popes. Dhrtatman Seshadri locked down his 1st save.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Manny Trujillo? The San Fernando catcher had a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bears on top, 2-0. For the game, Trujillo had 2 doubles and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Enjoyed this one," Tomsett told the San Fernando Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The loss makes Sacramento 23-13.
