The Mexico City Aztecs handed the San Antonio Outlaws a sound defeat, 11-3, at Quetzalcoatl Dome. Edmond Spits, who is tied for 7th in the JL in doubles with 12, was a main contributor to the win. He went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Mexico City. Guo-dong Cong sewed up the save, his 1st. With the win, the Aztecs have a record of 14-23.

The Aztecs grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out, 21-year old catcher Ross DeVille hit a 2-run home run off Troy Andrews, putting Mexico City in front, 4-3. For DeVille, it was his 5th home run of the season.

Said San Antonio manager Johnnie Oh: "They did a lot of things right. We did a lot of things wrong."
