|
Behind a fine performance from Graham Aubry, the Bikini Krill knocked off the Hawaii Tropics, 7-4. Aubry was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Krill. The winner was Jon Brown, who threw 91 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 7 hits. Winston Morris recorded his 12th save for Bikini.
Bikini used the timely hitting of Michael Buckley to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Krill ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
