The San Antonio Outlaws topped the Mexico City Aztecs, 7-3, in Johnson League action at Quetzalcoatl Dome. The standout performance belonged to San Antonio pitcher and Brooklyn, New York, native George White. White got the win, improving to 5-3. He gave up 3 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The 6th-place Outlaws improved to 16-23.

San Antonio used a well-timed hit by Herkermer Homolka to capture the win. The first baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Outlaws ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

San Antonio manager Johnnie Oh was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
