Chicago Black Sox starter Stevie Bodine pitched a strong game against the Nashville Bluebirds at Vinnie Vitale Stadium, leading the Black Sox to victory, 3-2. With the win, the Black Sox sit at 71-51.
Timofei Gadomsky was the walk-off hero for Chicago. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Black Sox first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Bodine.
