Though he had a stellar game, Callum Mckay could not prevent his team, the New Orleans Crawdads, from losing, 4-3, to the Atlantic City Gamblers. Mckay went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2. Seth Weller earned the win to go to 5-2. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. Earning his 8th save of the year was Jesús Martínez.
Second Baseman Javier Aguilar made an impact for Atlantic City, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Jamie Barber in the top of the fifth. For the contest, Aguilar went 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Atlantic City manager Alejandro Hernández said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
