5-Hit Game for Medrano
Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. José Medrano of the Cheyenne Bulls had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate in his team's 7-0 win over the Lynchburg Whiskeyjacks at Jack Daniels Field.

"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 19-year-old first baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."

José Medrano doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Marcos Eddy in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
