Peter Ramsey, who is tied for 10th in the JL in quality starts with 5, was locked in. The left-hander led the Montreal Blazers to a 5-4 win against the Las Vegas Hustlers at Ubisoft Field. The winner was Montreal reliever Augusto Ayala, now 1-3. The loser was Art Cherry. The Blazers move to 24-25 with the win, while the Hustlers drop to 27-22.

Reynaldo Serrano was the walk-off hero for Montreal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blazers pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Serrano.
