Nine Suffer 4-1 Road Loss
At Dunn Field, the Yellow Springs Nine and Valencia Stars were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Valencia Stars picked up a win at Dunn Field, taking down the Yellow Springs Nine, 4-1. Starting pitcher Qing-lai Ou-yang was a big reason why. Ou-yang yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-5.

Valencia center fielder Santiago Diéguez delivered a solo home run in the bottom of the third. Overall, he went 3 for 4, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 2.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Valencia manager Roberto Solís. "It's usually not just one thing."
