The Portland Lumberjacks scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Brook Park Brownies at Brownie Field. Portland pitcher John O'Leary held his own in the contest. The win went to Erasmo González in relief, making him now 2-0. Kutaiba Abdul-Nasser took the loss for Brook Park. The Frick League Pacific Division-leading Lumberjacks are 33-19.

Portland used a timely hit from Geoffrey Dodson to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lumberjacks ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Portland manager Mons Raider called it "a pretty good win."
