Charm City Hot Streak Continues with 7-5 Win
The Charm City Jimmies stopped the Austin Shredders, 7-5, at OLD BAY Park at Camden Yards. The Jimmies got a big game from Izz al Din bin Riyad, who went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Candrata Parmar. He is now 2-0. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. Picking up his 16th save was six-time All-Star Manuel Barrera.

Charm City took a 6-5 lead on Edgardo Reyes's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Reyes hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Austin pitcher Manny Aguilar visibly frustrated.

"This team is hotter than heck," said Charm City manager Jimmy Días.

Charm City has now won 8 games in a row.
