Though he had a terrific game, José Barrera could not prevent his team, the Louisville Sluggers, from absorbing a loss. Bikini won the game, 9-6. Barrera went 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Tony Vásquez notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 2-2. The Krill improved their record to 25-29 by beating Louisville.

Bikini used a timely hit from Iván Quintana to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Krill ahead, 8-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Quintana.
